A few healthy eating options that can be easily carried or stored:
- Fresh fruits (apples, bananas, grapes, etc.)
- Raw veggies like carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, etc. Please remember to clean them thoroughly.
- Yogurt cups
- Nuts and seeds (almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, etc.) Please be mindful of the portion size. Hard-boiled eggs
- Energy bars (with natural ingredients)
- Smoothies - Fresh fruit or veggie. Skip the sugar though :)
- Roasted chickpeas Dried fruits (apricots, raisins, cranberries, etc.). Once again, portion control :)
It's important to choose options that are non-perishable, portable, and easy to eat on-the-go. And, don't forget to carry more than one container if needed :) Remember, well-planned is half the battle won :)
