10 On-the-Go Healthy Eating Options for Busy Moms



I am often asked to suggest healthy eating options that a busy mom or a working woman can easily carry. With easy availability, many ladies are worried about their frequent consumption of processed foods and packaged foods. And in periods of stress, one automatically reaches for them. 
A few healthy eating options that can be easily carried or stored: 
  • Fresh fruits (apples, bananas, grapes, etc.) 
  • Raw veggies like carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, etc. Please remember to clean them thoroughly. 
  • Yogurt cups 
  • Nuts and seeds (almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, etc.) Please be mindful of the portion size. Hard-boiled eggs 
  • Energy bars (with natural ingredients) 
  • Smoothies - Fresh fruit or veggie. Skip the sugar though :) 
  • Roasted chickpeas Dried fruits (apricots, raisins, cranberries, etc.). Once again, portion control :) 
It's important to choose options that are non-perishable, portable, and easy to eat on-the-go. And, don't forget to carry more than one container if needed :) Remember, well-planned is half the battle won :)
